This week, the internet was rocked by a major AWS outage that affected many apps, services, and websites from companies such as Autodesk, ConnectWise, Coinbase, and Adobe Spark.
Salesforce is eyeing Slack in a major potential acquisition that could rival Microsoft in the SaaS market. Salesforce lost the leader position in the Saas market in 2016 to Microsoft.
Splunk announces this week the intention to buy Flowmill, a company that offers cloud network visibility tools. This move will enhance Splunkās Observability Suite to further enable enterprises and SMBs a greater ability to quickly analyze and resolve network-related issues and reduce costs.
š¤ Partner Program Announcements
Samsung U.K. debuts Samsung One, a mobile-first partner program, where partners can access sales enablement assets, training, news, incentives, rewards all thru an app in response to the need for enhanced mobile collaboration due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aveva is making its entire product portfolio available to 1,450 channel partners in North America thru a new partner program, Aveva Select. This will expand Avevaās presence in North America giving them an increased footprint inside industries such as food and beverage, packaged goods, smart cities, mining, utilities, and automotive and electronics.
Based on over three years of partner feedback, Centreon updates the On Partner Program with partner-first enhancements such as revamped onboarding, technical training, market insights, and sales tools.
RainFocus, announces a new partner program to enable partners to tap into their expertise in virtual and physical event and marketing management. The RainFocus Platform allows event and marketing teams the ability to analyze behavior data from virtual, physical, and hybrid events to enhance engagement models for each event.
Rockwell Automation announced the next evolution of its OEM Partner Program designed to better align customers to partners and foster innovation through Rockwell Automationās domain expertise. New enhancements include a robust co-marketing platform and an elevated level of support.
