Around the Industry
Mobile advertising company ironSource announced it had acquired startup Luna Labs, a platform that allows app developers to create and manage video and playable ads. The acquisition gives ironSource the added capability to allow developers to create ads directly from their game code and automatically generate unlimited ads' unlimited variations to save development time hours.
Autodesk announced it would acquire Innovyze, Inc, a global water infrastructure software leader, for $1 billion. Autodesk plans to combine Innovyze’s software with its existing design and analysis software to offer customers in the water industry a platform that supports the modernization of water infrastructure globally.
HP announced that it would acquire gaming peripheral company HyperX for $425 million as it continues to accelerate its growth in the gaming ecosystem market. HyperX is one of the most notable brands in the gaming accessories market and is Kingston Technology Company's gaming division. The acquisition does not include Kingston’s DRAM, flash, and SDD peripherals portfolio.
CrowdStrike has announced it will acquire Humio, a leading provider of high-performance cloud log management technology, for $400 million. The acquisition will enable CrowdStrick to strengthen its ability to help developers, security analysts, and IT professionals gain complete observability to explore threats and vulnerabilities and obtain insights from data in real-time.
Partner Program Announcements
Bizzabo, a leading event success platform, announced the launch of its Global Partner Program. The program lets partners manage, measure, and grow professional events in any virtual, in-person, or hybrid format. Partners will get access to exclusive resources such as marketing, business development, sales, and support. Partners in the program will be categorized as Agency Partners, Go-to-Market Partners, or Solutions & Integrations Partners.
Camunda, an open-source process automation software provider, announced the launch of its Camunda Connect Partner Program. The program launched with more than 100 organizations participating, including some of the world’s largest global SIs, local and regional firms, sales and technology partners. The partner program will include three partner categories: Consulting, Sales, and Technology Partners. Partners will include marketing and sales tools, access to technical resources, training programs, demo environments, and more.
Infoblox, the Secure Cloud-Managed Network Services leader, announced the new Infoblox Cloud Specialization program to channel partners to market, sell, and support its SaaS solutions at scale. Partners in the program will receive sales incentives, exclusive training and education offerings, and peer-to-peer learnings.
Partnership Announcements
ChannelAssist Inc. and Gorilla Corp. announced a strategic partnership that will leverage their respective strengths and expertise in the channel sales and marketing space. ChannelAssist is known for providing a robust end-to-end channel engagement solution providing full visibility into rep performance. Gorilla helps technology vendors measure, grow, and enable channel partners with its partner development and engagement services.
Afterpay, the leader in “Buy Now, Pay Later,” announced a partnership with Stripe to offer Afterpay’s payment service to Stripe merchants. The partnership will allow both new and existing Stripe merchants to allow their shoppers to receive their items immediately and pay in four installments. Top e-commerce platforms, such as Squarespace, will also leverage the partnership and offer Afterpay to its customers.
Infinidat, a leading provider of enterprise-class storage solutions, announced that it had expanded its strategic alliance with VMware. The alliance gives customers the ability to test, implement easily, and maintain large-scale software-defined datacenter environments. Infinidat’s enhanced capabilities also give customers the ability to deploy VMware solutions in a matter of hours, compared to weeks with other products.
