Dropbox announced that it would acquire DocSend for $165 million. DocSend, a current Dropbox partner, currently enables customers to share business-critical documents with ease and get real-time feedback. By combining DocSend and HelloSign, a company it acquired in 2019, Dropbox plans to create self-serve products to help customers manage critical document workflows from start to finish.
Cardlytics, an digital advertising platform for financial institutions, has announced that it has completed its acquisition of Dosh, a transaction-based advertising platform, for $275 million. With an audience of over 163 million monthly active users, Cardlytics plan to integrate Dosh’s platform to give advertisers the ability to engage with consumers using cash-back offers through some of the largest financial institutions and most notable neo-banks and fintech companies in the world.
Paypal announced it would acquire Curv, a digital asset security startup. Paypal recently announced its commitment to help shape the role that digital currencies will play in the future of financial services and has recently created a business unit focused on blockchain, crypto, and digital currencies. With the acquisition, Curv will join the new business unit.
Datto, a leading global provider of cloud-based software and technology solutions for MSPs, announced that it had acquired BitDam, a cyber threat detection company. BitDam’s cybersecurity and threat-detection technology protect customers’ email, cloud drives, and other collaboration tools such as Zoom from ransomware, malware, and phishing.
Partner Program Announcements
Latch, an enterprise SaaS platform for building access management, announced the Latch Lens Partner Program's launch. The Latch Lens Partner Program allows existing access device manufacturers to connect their best-in-class hardware to LatchOS to bring more powerful capabilities to their customers, no matter the lock type they may need. Partners will empower enterprise management and smart home users to unlock with the Latch App and enable new property manager software integrations.
Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, announced the Edge Software and Digital Service Program's launch. The new program will offer participants a complete suite of financial incentives, support tools, and certifications for IT solution providers to create a managed power services practice that establishes recurring revenue streams thru remote monitoring and management.
Perimeter 81, a leading Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) provider, announced its new partner program. Perimeter 81 already works with strategic partners and currently serves over 1,300 customers today. The Perimeter 81 Channel Partner Program will give partners access to comprehensive technical training, sales resources, marketing collateral, and 24/7 dedicated technical support through a dedicated partner portal.
Partnership Announcements
C3 AI, a leading enterprise AI software provider, and Infor, an ERP technology cloud leader, announced a strategic alliance designed to expand enterprise-class artificial intelligence solutions across applicable industries jointly. The partnership expects to leverage both companies’ existing digital portfolios to collaborate on new integrated enterprise AI applications that can support specific industry needs and is designed to supplement Infor’s existing platform technologies in advanced analytics and embedded intelligence.
Smith Micro Software entered into a strategic partnership with Avant and announced its intention to acquire Avast’s Family Safety Mobile Business for $66 million. The acquisition includes Advast’s portfolio of mobile parental control services such as location features, content filtering, and screen time management. Avast will retain its carrier IoT security and in-home protection services. With the acquisition, Smith Micro will expand its white-label digital safety solutions and strengthen itself as a leading family safety SaaS provider.
