Around the Industry
Autodesk announced that it would acquire Upchain, the product lifecycle management and product data management software for the manufacturing industry. With the acquisition, Autodesk positions itself to deliver more value in the manufacturing space for engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders as traditional data management processes are still inefficient.
Atlassian announced that it had acquired ThinkTilt, the maker of ProForma, a no-code/low-code Jira form builder. By integrating ProForma to Atlassian’s Jira Service Management, IT teams will quickly scale up and adapt quickly to collect and validate all the information by taking advantage of ProForma’s 300+ pre-built forms.
IBM announced that it would acquire myInvenio, a startup that builds and operates process mining software. Process mining tracks data produced by a company’s software, and myInvenio does this by making a ‘digital twin’ of a company help track and optimize processes. With the acquisition, IBM plans to use myInvenio’s sales, procurement, and production tools to help customers identify what might be better served with more automation.
Partner Program Announcements
Asana, a leading work management platform, announced the launch of Asana Partners, an ecosystem of over 200 essential work tools and strategic channel partners across multiple countries. Asana Partners consists of two elements: a technology program and a channel program. The technology program will have three tiers: Strategic, Premier, and Platform partners. Integration level will depend on the partner tier. The new Asana Channel Partner Network will support solutions partners, resellers, and systems integrators from over 75 countries. The program is free to join and includes a certification program that enables partners to offer implementation, training and other services on Asana.
Playvox, a leading CRM-connected omnichannel contact center, announced the launch of its Global Channel Partner Program. The Playvox Suite of cloud-based applications gives companies the tools and intelligence needed to create healthy work environments that result in superior customer experiences. The new channel program is designed for technology partners, systems integrators, service providers and launched with six inaugural partners.
Infinidat, a leading provider of enterprise-class storage solutions, announced a new accreditation program for its global channel partners. The new Infinidat Accreditation Program will offer channel partners four educational tracks to help improve their ability to demonstrate to end-user customers that they have been fully trained, tested, and accredited to sell Infinidat’s data storage products.
Otava, a global leader in secure and compliant hybrid cloud solutions, announced updates to its partner program. The latest enhancements to the program include a new partner portal that includes deal registration, deal management, 150 co-brandable enablement tools, marketing campaign assistance, and dedicated training. New partners that join will be connected to a dedicated success advocate who will create a customized success plan and support them throughout the entire partner lifecycle.
Partnership Announcements
Jumio, a leading provider of AI-powered end-to-end identity verification, announced a partnership with Copper River IT, a leading provider of IT cyber defense solutions and services. The partnership will leverage the companies’ expertise in expediting the digital transformation initiatives of SLED and public sector organizations, reducing fraud associated with legacy and data-based approaches, and developing digital identity proofing solutions.
Movable Ink and Xtremepush announced a strategic partnership to provide hyper-personalized experiences across email, mobile, and push notifications. Xtremepush, a leading customer engagement, personalization, and data platform, will integrate Movable Ink’s dynamic data-activated content into campaigns sent thru its platform. Customers will now be able to pull in real-time and behavioral data to generate compelling and personalized content such as pricing, product reviews, and abandoned cart CTAs.
