Around the Industry
ServiceNow, a leading digital workflow company, announced that it would acquire Mapwize, an indoor-mapping and wayfinding company based in France. Mapwize’s technology provides indoor mapping capabilities and in-building navigation for employees and allows workplace teams to manage and update floor maps based on usage trends and needs. With the acquisition, ServiceNow intends to build Mapwize’s capabilities natively into the Now Platform and the Workplace Service Delivery Suite.
Two global leaders in digital security and privacy, NortonLifeLock and Avast, have announced they will merge in a deal valued at more than $8.6 billion. The merger will allow the companies to create a new leader in consumer cyber safety that strengthens its geographic markets, facilitates expansion into the home office and very small business segments, and expands partnerships. In addition, both companies have complementary offerings and will benefit from cross-selling each other’s products.
Partner Program Announcements
Nozomi Networks, a leader in OT and IoT security and visibility, announced the launch of the industry’s first complete program for OT and IoT managed security services. The MSSP Elite Program will equip industry-leading MSSPs with Nozomi Networks’ OT and IoT cybersecurity solutions, expertise, and resources to generate additional revenue through new lines of business. Partners in the program will receive specialized training and certifications and access a full suite of resources. In addition, they can incorporate Nozomi Networks’ cloud-based and on-premises solutions into their offerings.
AT&T Cybersecurity has launched a simplified MSSP Partner Program for its Unified Security Management (USM) solutions. Based on feedback from its MSSP partners, the updated program will now feature updates such as clear and consistent pricing, accelerated opportunities for profit and growth, 24/7 support from AT&T Cybersecurity, and dedicated channel account managers with access to marketing and technical resources.
Tigera, a leader in Kubernetes security and observability, announced the launch of its global partner program. The new partner program is intended for resellers, system integrators, consultants, and distributors with competencies in AWS, Azure, GKE, Red Hat Openshift, and Suse Rancher Kubernetes. Partners in the program will receive sales leads, incentives, referral compensation, technical assistance, and product education.
Orca Security, a leader in cloud security and compliance for AWS, Azure, and GCP, announced its global partner program. The Orca Security Partner Program will help solution partners, global systems integrators, technology partners, and cloud service providers the ability to grow their businesses and better serve the security and compliance needs of their customers. Partners in the program receive pre and post-sales support, training, co-marketing programs, and market development funds.
Partnership Announcements
Google Cloud and Workday, a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, announced a strategic partnership to enable enterprises across the globe to further their digital transformation. As a result of the partnership, Google Cloud will become Workday’s preferred cloud partner across its core industries. In addition, Google Cloud and Workday plan to build strategic, joint go-to-market programs and explore co-innovation opportunities in retail, healthcare, and financial services through the multi-year partnership.
Spectrum Enterprise and Cisco announced a partnership to launch Unified Communications with Webex designed for mid-market and enterprise customers. The new end-to-end solution will combine Spectrum Enterprise managed services and voice calling with the capabilities of Webex to simplify the management of communications infrastructure across the enterprise. As part of the collaboration, Spectrum Enterprise offers design, installation, training, and support services, including network equipment and connectivity over its private network.
