Around the Industry
Zebra Technologies, a leader in industry-tailored end-to-end solutions, announced its intent to acquire Antuit.ai, a provider of artificial intelligence-powered SaaS solutions for retail forecasting and merchandising. With the acquisition, Anuit.ai’s technology will now be Zebra’s planning and demand forecasting module within its retail software portfolio.
Check Point Software Technologies, a leading provider of cyber security solutions, announced the acquisition of Avanan, the world’s fastest-growing cloud email security vendor. With the acquisition, Check Point will integrate Avanan’s technology into its Check Point Infinity consolidated architecture to become the only unified solution in the market to protect the remote workforce from email cyber-attacks. Avanan currently has more than 5000 customers and protects over 2.5 million inboxes.
Partner Program Announcements
Amazon Web Services announced two new incentives for AWS Partners in its AWS Solution Provider Program. The two new incentives announced, Partner Growth Rebate and Partner Originated Discount, recognize partners for growing, originating, and closing new end-customer opportunities. The new incentives are incremental to the discounts that AWS Solution Providers receive today.
DigiCert, the leading provider of TLS/SSL and PKI solutions, announced the launch of its Trust Solutions Partner Program. The new program complements its existing TLS partner program. It will allow value-added resellers, systems integrators, service providers, and other IS solution partners greater access to new solutions, technologies, and partner benefits. Joining the program is a selective process. Partners in the program will receive significant discounts, guaranteed margins, automated deal registration, sales and marketing tools, and access to training and certification programs.
Dremio, the SQL lakehouse company, announced the launch of the Dremio Partner Network for the BI and analytics ecosystem. The new partner network includes Dremio cloud, technology, consulting, and system integration partners. In addition, partners in the program receive a dedicated partner account manager, business planning, one-to-one support, education, training and certification, and joint go-to-marketing support.
Bonitasoft, a leading open-source digital process automation company, announced the launch of its partner certification program. The new 360-degree Partner Program recognizes partners that have earned their technical teams’ validation on new product releases, verification sales, marketing enablement training, and proven understanding of the value proposition.
Turing Video, a provider of AI-enabled safety and security solutions, announced the launch of its first channel partner program as it commits to being a channel-first company. The Turing Partner Program is designed to help dealers and systems integrators expand their portfolio and services with its AI-enabled surveillance platform. The partner program has a tiered benefit structure and offers partners access to training and certification programs, marketing and sales resources, and premium support opportunities.
Partnership Announcements
Amazon and Affirm, a buy now, pay later (BNPL) service provider, announced a partnership to offer customers financing at checkout. The partnership is still in its very early stage of testing with select customers. When launched, approved customers will split the cost of purchases of $50 or more into simple monthly payments. Affirm currently has approximately 5.4 million customers and has an existing partnership with Shopify offering a similar checkout option.
