NetApp, a global cloud-led, data-centric company, announced it would acquire CloudCheckr, a leading cloud optimizer platform, to enable organizations to better optimize and secure their multi-cloud infrastructure. With the acquisition, the Spot by NetApp portfolio of CloudOps services will now include comprehensive cost visibility, analytics, management, and optimization to help enterprises and MSPs continuously control their cloud infrastructure resources.
One Identify, a leader in unified identity security, announced it had acquired OneLogin, a market-leading provider of Identity Access Management solutions. By adding OneLogin’s software to its existing portfolio of identity security solutions, One Identify will now be able to offer customers an end-to-end approach to addressing cybersecurity with the market’s only unified identity security platform.
Microsoft announced that it had acquired Ally.io, a leading OKR platform provider. With the acquisition, Microsoft plans to incorporate Ally.io’s technology into its employee experience platform, Viva, as a new module to give organizations a better way to communicate company goals and objectives to employees.
Partner Program Announcements
During VMworld 2021, VMware introduced new and enhanced incentives to help partners better serve their customers. Enhancements to the program include an updated Customer Lifecycle Incentives portfolio that provides partners new and revamped incentives throughout the customer journey, a partner-enabled Cloud Universal that gives partners and customers the flexibility and tools to build multi-cloud strategies. In addition, the VMware Marketplace now supports buy and sell capabilities to provide customers the ability to buy certified and validated partner solutions directly from the marketplace and deploy them to VMware endpoints.
Swimlane, a leader in cloud-scale, low code security automation, announced the launch of its comprehensive global partner program. The partner program offers three subprograms built to address the needs of technology partners, advisory alliances, and VARs. Each subprogram will offer sales, marketing, and technical resources specifically designed to enable partners to accelerate the adoption of low-code security automation by creating market-ready solutions.
Forcepoint, a global leader in data-first cybersecurity, announced it had made strategic investments to its Global Partner Program to simplify how partners work with the company. Forcepoint currently partners with resellers, OEMs, service providers, global systems integrators, and technology partners. Enhancements to the partner program include the introduction of a new elite partner tier, new rebate rewards for partner-led growth, new deal registration benefits, an enhanced partner portal, new enablement offerings, and technical guidance.
