Best Buy announced it would acquire Current Health, a leading remote patient monitoring and telehealth provider, as it continues to build out its health business. Today, Current Health offers an end-to-end platform that monitors patient information from connected devices to enable remote patient monitoring, telehealth services, and patient engagement. With the acquisition, Best Buy intends to build a broader care ecosystem by combing Current Health’s platform with its existing health products.
Crayon, a leading IT services company, announced it would acquire Rhipe, a leading wholesale provider of subscription-based cloud licenses and sevices, as part of its global expansion strategy. Rhipe is based in Australia and currently is a leading distributor of cloud solutions and services in the Asia Pacific region.
Partner Program Announcements
SCADAfence, a global leader in cybersecurity for OT and IoT environments, announced the launch of its partner program for technology partners, resellers, and MSSPs. The SCADAfence Alliance Program will include three tiers and offer partners sales enablement resources such as a dedicated partner portal, comprehensive demo resources, technical resources, sales and marketing resources, and quarterly training sessions.
Whiplash, a leading provider of omnichannel fulfillment and logistics services, announced the launch of a partner program to help e-commerce merchants scale their businesses by accessing its broad ecosystem of solution and integration partners. Partners in the new program will receive dedicated partner managers and technical support, tailored co-marketing opportunities, and partner referrals.
Query.ai, a leading security investigations control plane provider, announced the launch of its partner program to help enterprises access, investigate, and respond to cyber threats. The Query.ai Partner Alliance Program provides solution and integration partners the ability to build and grow profitable cybersecurity practices. In addition, partners in the program will have access to go-to-market support, expert technical support, dedicated sales enablement resources, and co-marketing support.
EfficientIP announced the launch of a new channel partner program designed specifically for service partners such as MSPs, Telco Operators, ISPs, GSIs, and CSPs. The new SmartPartner Program ensures that its partners’ projects are successful by providing holistic product training and includes implementation and delivery at no cost to the partner. In addition, partners in the program receive a specialized Welcome Pack to guide the onboarding process and complimentary delivery team support for the first three deployments, demo licenses, and access to internal marketing and BDR resources.
Neustar Security, a global information services and technology company, announced a redesign of its partner program for solution partners. Renamed the Ultra Secure Partner Program, the partner program will provide partners with a clearly defined tiered structure to clarify both parties' expectations, consistent practices, policies, and discounts. In addition, access to higher tiers with higher levels of benefits will be accessible based on the commitment from the partner.
Pica8, an open networking software company, announced an expanded partner program for VARs. The new Pica8 Break Free Partner Program will provide incentives and give partners access to onboarding, training, and certification programs to assist their customers as they break free from closed systems. Pica8 also announced that it would provide special incentives to Cumulus VARs, Dell VARs, and Edgecore VARs.
Empirix, an Infovista company and leader in contact center testing and experience assurance, announced the launch of a new partner program as it aims to transform the business into a 90%+ channel-centric vendor within five years. The new Hammer global partner program includes a new partner portal that offers partners deal registration and other enablement benefits to support and grow its current ecosystem of around 100 partners.
