Around the Industry
McAfee announced that it would be acquired by an investor group consisting of six investment firms. As a result of the acquisition, McAfee will go private. The firms in the investment group will each be providing financial and operational resources.
DoorDash announced it would acquire Finland-based food delivery company Wolt as part of its efforts to expand its reach to Europe. Wolt currently contracts couriers to deliver takeout, groceries, and other goods to customers across 23 countries and has over 4,000 employees.
Partner Program Announcements
During its recent Cisco Partner Summit 2021, Cisco announced enhancements to its restructured Cisco Partner Program. In addition to the integrator and provider roles, two new roles, developer and advisor, will be added this month. Each role will offer Gold, Premier, and Select levels. Additionally, to become more aligned with the types of solutions that customers are demanding, new categories of solutions-based specializations have also been added to the program to allow partners to be recognized for the additional value they offer to their customers.
Workspan, the leading ecosystem business management platform provider, announced the launch of the Workspan Global Partner Funds Operation Center to provide its global customers with around-the-clock operations support. In addition to the Global Partner Funds Operation Center, Workspan introduced updated online self-help resources such as Workspan Academy, Workspan Community, online support resources, and knowledge base.
Spectrio, a leading provider of comprehensive digital signage solutions, announced the launch of its partner program for reseller partners. The Spectrio Partners program will enable partners to create additional revenue streams by offering a complete, white-labeled, turnkey digital signage and engagement platform to their clients. In addition, the new program will provide access to all Spectrio products such as digital signage, interactive kiosks, and on-premise music and messaging.
Noname Security, a leading API security platform provider, announced the launch of its first global partner program for all new and existing partners. The Noname Unnamed Partner Program will provide VARs, channel partners, technology partners, SIs, distributors, and MSSPs the technology and resources to create sizable revenue opportunities in the API security market. In addition, partners in the program will have access to tailored onboarding, product training, significant discounts, access to a partner hub for deal registration, and access to co-branded marketing and email collateral.
Veem, a leading provider of online payment solutions, announced the launch of an all-in-one platform that enables partners with flexible and configurable integration options. The Veem Partner Connect program will allow partners in the payments ecosystem to utilize Veem’s embedded solutions to offer their small to medium-sized business customers online payment services.
Tech Soft 3D, a leading provider of engineering software development toolkits, announced the launch of a new program for integration partners. The Tech Soft 3D Integration Partner Program is designed to promote complementary technologies from strategic partners to help HOOPS software developers get to market faster without worrying about integration issues.
Partnership Announcements
Tanium, a leading endpoint visibility and access control platform provider, and Deep Instinct, a leading end-to-end deep learning cybersecurity provider, announced a partnership to unify endpoint security for end-to-end visibility. In addition, Deep Instinct’s Prevention Platform will be integrated into Tanium’s Threat Response solution to give joint customers of all sizes and industries the increased ability to predict and prevent cyber threats.
