Microsoft announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard Inc, a leader in game development and interactive entertainment content, to accelerate the growth of its gaming business across all platforms as it enters the metaverse.
Datto, a leading global provider of cloud-based software and security solutions for MSPs, announced it had acquired Infocyte, a threat detection and response company. Infocyte’s patented technologies continuously collect and correlate data from endpoints to identify potential threats. The acquisition extends Datto’s security capabilities for MSPs and allows Infocyte to expand its reach by leveraging Datto’s partner community and growing security portfolio.
Partner Program Announcements
Cybereason, an eXtended detection and response security platform provider, announced a new program to provide MSSP partners with more financial flexibility. Partners in the ‘Pay as You Grow’ Program will benefit from a monthly billing process based on usage rather than high contractual obligations to Cybereason to help them grow their business. The new program is available for Elite and Premier Cybereason MSSP partners and offers several tiers to help partners grow based on their companies' goals.
Pure Storage, the leading storage-as-a-service provider, announced new updates and benefits for its Partner Program to align with its evolution to a services-led company. Updates to the program allow partners to participate in one-to-many routes to market, differentiated benefits based on tier, and expanded programs to support service specialization and distribution partners.
Temenos, a leading banking software provider, announced the launch of its new partner program for SIs, VARs, solution providers, technology providers, and strategic advisors. The IMPACT Partner Program offers partners benefits and resources to build new business, add new capabilities, and grow their banking practice. In addition to an online learning community and Partner Academy, Partners will access enablement resources such as training and certification materials, business plan templates, and marketing content through a partner portal.
Partnership Announcements
AWS and TD Synnex announced a new strategic collaboration agreement to expand cloud solutions for ISVs and channel partners significantly. The collaboration agreement provides investments in resources to help small and medium-sized and public sector partners grow their offerings by leveraging a more extensive range of AWS Cloud services. The agreement covers North America, Latin America, and Caribbean regions.
