Around the Industry

  • Citrix, a cloud computing and virtualization company, announced that Vista Equity Partners would acquire it. Under the acquisition, Citrix will be combined with TIBCO Software, a global leader in enterprise data management and one of Vista’s portfolio companies. The combined company will create one of the world’s largest software providers with 100 million users in 100 countries, including 98 percent of the Fortune 500.


Partner Program Announcements

  • SupportLogic, the creator of the world’s first proactive support experience platform, announced the launch of a new global partner program. The new Partner Experience Plus (PX+) promotes co-selling between SupportLogic and its partners. Partners in the program will access free sales and technical enablement resources, competitive and predictable margins, and performance-based MDF from a new partner portal.

  • Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, announced new enhancements to its partner program as part of its yearly update. The latest updates to the #CyberFit Partner Program emphasize supporting partner development for cloud-based service providers and distribution partners. New additions include access to joint business planning available on the Partner Portal, a competitive migration program available to partners ready to migrate to Acronis, access to sales and marketing automation tools and pre-packaged content, and an on-demand demo lab for training and demo purposes.

  • Cloudflare, the web performance and security company, announced that it had updated its Channel and Alliances Partner Program to support service partners interested in providing services around Cloudflare products with recurring revenue streams. Updates to the new program include new service program paths with custom support and enablement, new levels of accreditation, and new go-to-market motions for MSP and MSSP partners.

  • IntelePeer, a leading provider of communication solutions, announced the launch of a new partner program for VARs, Agents/Master Agents, MSPs, developers, ISVs, and solution providers. The new Apex Partner Program supports both Sell-With and Build-With models to allow partners to engage with IntelePeer in the manner they want. In addition, the program provides dedicated support, partner benefits, training, and access to free trials to test out product and development applications.

  • Lacework, the data-driven security company for the cloud, announced that it had updated its partner program to better serve its growing partner ecosystem of channel partners, technology partners, SIs, and cloud service providers. The new Lacework Accelerate Partner Program will have three new tiered program levels that will offer benefits such as dedicated support, MDF program dollars, SPIFF eligibility, and technical training.
