Around the Industry
Zendesk announced it would acquire Momentive, the parent company of SurveyMonkey, further to capture a large slice of the customer analytics market. The acquisition includes the iconic SurveyMonkey platform, which is used by over 345,000 paying companies worldwide. According to Zendesk, the purchase will enable its customers to “build more meaningful relationships” by providing opportunities for both companies to cross-sell and co-develop existing and future products.
Symphony RetailAI, a leading global provider of integrated AI-powered marketing, merchandising, and supply chain solutions for retailers and manufacturers, announced that it had acquired ReTech Labs, a global SaaS provider of real-time image capture and recognition technology. Symphony RetailAI has been working with ReTech Labs for the past year to enhance its shelf intelligence solution to integrate image capture technology to help retail clients better plan, monitor, and analyze the status of their shelves in near real-time. Together, both companies will continue to offer customers end-to-end technology innovation to ensure their stores and product placement are optimized for consumer experience and revenue growth.
Partner Program Announcements
Uniphore, the leader in Conversational Automation, announced the launch of its Uniphore Unite partner program for reseller, referral, and BPO partners. The new program offers a range of programs to support partners of all sizes and business models. Partners who join the program will have access to partner resources such as sales, technical, and marketing support, a dedicated partner helpdesk, access to MDFs, and a complementary ISV program with its own benefits around co-selling and position.
Armis, the leading unified asset visibility and security platform provider, announced its new partner program for channel partners, resellers, SIs, and MSSPs. The APEX program was created to help partners tap into their market opportunities for IoT device security management by offering a tiered program with multiple go-to-market options based on the partner type. Along with increased sales and marketing support, the program will provide partners with financial incentives such as Business Development Funds and enablement to expand to supplemental areas.
Arrow Electronics announced a new EMEA cloud channel partner for ISVs as they look to accelerate their growth into new markets. The Cloud Innovation Factory program offers services designed to help partners grow their organization through business and strategy planning, onboarding, and optimization of solutions. In addition, partners in the program will access training, consultative services, marketing and sales support, and opportunities to work with complementary partners.
MarcomCentral, a leader in brand management solutions, announced the launch of its partner program for resellers of its MarcomGather digital asset management solution. The partner program will enable partners to earn a residual revenue stream with every new customer.
Mux, the leading video platform for developers, announced the launch of its new partner program to connect developers with solutions and services to create video experiences built on its platform. The Mux Partner Program will offer three paths to partner: cloud alliances, platform partnerships, and solution partnerships. In addition, partners in the program will have access to benefits such as free credits on the platform, co-marketing and promotion, dedicated technical support, and sales support.
Access4, a leading communications and collaboration software vendor, announced a new partner program for Australian MSPs. The Advantage program has four tiers determined by revenue and technical certifications that will offer partners sales, marketing, and technical support. In addition, as part of the new partner program launch, Access4 introduced a Partner Promise for MSPs who qualify for its Recurring Revenue Assurance Program. Under the Partner Promise, Access4 will support partners to generate $50k in annualized recurring revenue or credit the difference.
Olive, the automation company creating the Internet of Healthcare, announced five new partnership programs in its channel distribution strategy. The new programs will give partners such as developers, global system integrators, resellers, and industry associations the ability to promote new opportunities in healthcare by allowing solutions to be built on Olive’s industry-wide platform.
Partnership Announcements
Trimble and Microsoft announced a strategic partnership to advance technology adoption and accelerate digital transformation in the construction, agriculture, and transportation industries. Both companies plan to collaborate to develop, build, and deliver industry cloud platforms and solutions to multinational and regional enterprises. Initially, both companies will focus on building the Trimble Construction Cloud by combining Trimble’s construction solutions in on-machine and field technologies, project and resource management, and modeling software with Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
